FAQs

  • Are these tours for adults or kids?
Our adventures are designed for everyone who loves the outdoors. We cater for both adults and kids, with tours suited to different ages and experience levels. Families, groups of mates, solo travellers, and even corporate or school groups are all welcome. Whether it’s your first time holding a fishing rod or you’re an experienced angler, there’s an adventure for you.

  • Do I need to pay in full when I book?
Yes, payment in full is required at the time of booking to secure your spot. Spaces are limited, so full payment helps us lock in your adventure, organise equipment, and prepare everything you’ll need for the day.

    What is your cancellation policy?
We understand that plans can change, but due to the preparation involved in running our adventures, we generally do not offer refunds.

    Cancellations & Refunds
If we need to cancel due to unsafe conditions and you can’t attend the rescheduled date, a credit or refund may be provided.
We do not offer refunds for change-of-mind cancellations.
All refund requests must be made in writing via email.

If you’re unable to attend your booked adventure, please contact us as soon as possible and we’ll do our best to find a suitable solution.

  • What happens in bad weather?
Our adventures go ahead in all conditions provided it is safe to do so. If conditions are unsafe, we’ll be in touch to reschedule. A bit of rain or cloud never stops the fun — some of our best adventures happen when the weather’s wild and the fish are biting!

  • Do you offer transport or pickup?
Yes, we offer pickup and drop-off from selected locations around the Byron Bay area depending on the tour. Details are confirmed when you book, or you can meet us directly at the adventure location if you prefer.

  • Safety is at the core of everything we do. Each activity has been carefully planned and risk-assessed to meet Australian safety standards. All equipment is maintained to a high standard, and every trip includes a full safety briefing before we begin.

We’ve worked closely with professional risk management specialists to develop our systems and ensure we keep everyone as safe as possible on our tours. This includes detailed risk assessments, regular equipment checks, staff training, and clear emergency procedures. Darcy and all staff hold current First Aid and CPR certifications, and carry first aid kits on every tour.
